Supervised Visitation
Trained professionals monitor in-person visits to ensure the safety and well-being of children in high-conflict or court-ordered custody situations.

Therapeutic Visitation
Supervised visitation is primarily to ensure the safety of the children and that the parties involved in the visit adhere to the court order. Sometimes the Court will order "therapeutic supervision." This is not therapy. Therapeutic supervision is ordered to allow for a supervisor to intervene in behaviors, by parent or child, that are not aligned with the intention of supervised visits. Therapeutic supervisors are qualified differently than non-therapeutic supervisors in that they have a background in social work, mental health, domestic violence or substance abuse issues. Traditionally supervisors merely make note of what occurs during the visit and do not intervene if there are negative behaviors or court violations occurring. Therapeutic supervisors are trained to redirect the parties in a non-invasive manner that allows for the visit to continue and, hopefully, modify behaviors that may inhibit the child's relationship with the non-custodial parent.

Safe Custody Exchanges
Facilitated neutral exchanges ensure a safe, conflict-free transfer of children between parents or guardians at designated locations.

Monitored Virtual Visits
Provides real-time supervision of virtual parenting time via Zoom or other platforms, maintaining safety and compliance with court orders.

Court Documentation
Detailed observation notes and official reports are provided upon request and can be submitted directly to courts or attorneys.

In-home Inspection Reports
Parental Dynamics will conduct home evaluations upon request or when ordered by the court. Home evaluations assess a parent’s home to ensure it is safe and suitable for children. Depending on the situation, our staff can either evaluate the home and produce a report or take a more active role by making suggestions and creating a roadmap with milestones to develop a safe, child-centric home environment.

New Client Intake Process
Home visits assess the safety and suitability of a residence for visitation, with comprehensive reports available for court review.
What is Supervised Parenting Time?
The role of supervised parenting time is to provide a safe and supervised environment where children and parents can have time together, but the risk for a dangerous situation is eliminated. This kind of visitation is applied when the court deems that there is a potential for a high-risk situation to arise, such as abuse.
THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN HIRING A SUPERVISED VISITATION TIME PROVIDER?
Select a provider to subscribes to the Standards, Guidelines and Code of Ethics of the Supervised Parenting Time Network (SVN) which have been developed over the past 25 years. Parental Dynamics is on the cutting edge of advancements in supervised parenting time, and implements policies and procedures that reduce the risk of emotional or physical harm to children and victims of domestic violence. Parental Dynamics is not invested in a particular outcome, but is committed to providing unbiased services in a neutral environment.
WHO DETERMINES THE NECESSITY OF SUPERVISED VISITATION TIME IN ARIZONA?
The Court determines the necessity of supervised parenting time in Arizona. While you have the right to care for your children, also understand that Arizona law gives judges the authority to order supervised parenting time. At any point during the child's formative years, one parent can petition the court asking for supervised parenting time for the other parent.
